Job Summary:
We are seeking an Emergency Management Operations Assistant to support the coordination and implementation of emergency management plans and procedures. The ideal candidate will assist in organizing resources, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring preparedness for emergency situations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in emergency management, disaster response, or a related field is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
- Ability to work well in high-pressure situations and respond quickly to changing circumstances

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of emergency management plans and procedures
- Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, and community partners to ensure effective response to emergencies
- Help conduct training sessions and drills to prepare staff and volunteers for emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to emergency management activities
- Provide support during emergencies by facilitating communication, resource allocation, and logistics coordination
- Stay informed about best practices, regulations, and trends in emergency management to enhance preparedness efforts
