Cimarron Basin Community Corrections Intensive Supervision Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Intensive Supervision Officer to join our team at Cimarron Basin Community Corrections. The primary responsibility of this role is to closely monitor and supervise individuals placed on parole or probation, ensuring compliance with court orders and rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular check-ins and visits with clients to assess their progress and compliance.
2. Monitor electronic monitoring equipment and maintain accurate records of client activities.
3. Collaborate with case managers, counselors, and other professionals to develop individualized supervision plans.
4. Enforce rules and guidelines set by the court and community corrections program.
5. Provide support and guidance to clients to facilitate successful reintegration into the community.
6. Prepare detailed reports for court hearings and maintain documentation of all interactions with clients.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
2. Previous experience working in corrections, probation, parole, or a related field.
3. Strong understanding of criminal justice system procedures and rehabilitation principles.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
7. Proficiency in computer skills and data management.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in relevant field.
2. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
3. Certification in Correctional Counseling or related discipline.
